What Is Hifu?

HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) targets deep into the dermis layer and SMAS (subcutaneous musculo-aponeurotic support system) without causing injury to the surrounding structures. The applied energy contracts the SMAS and stimulates collagen reproduction, producing skin tightening and lifting of the tissues.

How Does Hifu Work?

HIFU is a safe non-invasive treatment that uses HIFU technology. Its micro-focused ultrasound waves are able to target the SMAS (muscle) layer without harming the skin or surrounding tissue while promoting collagen growth. This will in turn  dramatically lifts and firms the face, brow and neck, and improves jawline definition.

This technology is used for medical treatments.

Is It Painful ?

Local numbing cream will be applied 30 to 40 minutes prior to treatment. There is minimal discomfort. Some patients might describe it as tingling warmth sensation.
